Roger Ebert is one of my favourite film critics. Though he’s been criticized for being inconsistent and for judging popcorn films with the same star system as art films, I give him a lot of credit for being simply hilarious. One of his most famous reviews was for the Rob Reiner film North:I hated this movie. Hated hated hated hated hated this movie. Hated it. Hated every simpering stupid vacant audience-insulting moment of it. Hated the sensibility that thought anyone would like it. Hated the implied insult to the audience by its belief that anyone would be entertained by it.I think those of us who work in cataloguing have probably felt the same way about typos at some point. When you fix the high probability typo crtic*, watch out for other languages -- crtice appears to be a word in some Slavic languages, and there may be more variations out there.
